08:00 AM: Following breakfast at your hotel, your driver and guide will meet you in the lobby. Today, you'll escape the bustling streets of Saigon and venture to Ben Tre, where a serene waterfront and relaxed pace offer a peaceful retreat.
Upon arrival at Hung Vuong Pier, you'll embark on a boat journey along the Tien River, a tributary of the Mekong. Pass by mangrove forests and witness the lively morning activities: fishermen at work, coconut cargo boats navigating the river. Stop at a traditional brick kiln to observe handmade brick-making techniques. Continue your boat ride along Cai Son canal, winding through coconut groves. Visit a coconut workshop to see the various stages of coconut processing, from husking to peeling by hand. Pause at a local house to observe beekeeping and savor honey tea.
Stroll along the canal to a coconut candy workshop, where you can watch artisans make candy by hand, sample some sweets, enjoy fresh fruits, and listen to local music. Proceed by boat and then hop on a Xe Loi (motorized rickshaw) to explore the countryside, stopping at a riverside restaurant for a lunch featuring local cuisine. After lunch, take a leisurely bike ride through the surrounding fields before boarding a sampan for a tranquil cruise along picturesque canals. Before returning to Saigon, visit the local market in Ben Tre.
