First, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you can see the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which houses the preserved body of Uncle Ho. Next, you will visit the Presidential Palace, a beautiful example of French architecture set in a garden, and the Ho Chi Minh House on stilts. This house showcases the simple life of Ho Chi Minh, a figure revered as the eternal president in Vietnamese spirit. You will conclude this section with a visit to the One Pillar Pagoda, an iconic attraction in Hanoi known for its unique architecture.
After lunch, you will continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university. Your next stop will be the Museum of Ethnology, where you can learn more about Vietnam's diverse cultures. Following this, you will explore Hanoi's Old Quarter, with its 36 ancient streets, by traditional cyclo. This leisurely-paced tour allows you to fully appreciate both the classical and modern aspects of the capital. The tour will end around 04:00 PM, after which you will have free time to shop or relax in Hanoi.
08:00 AM: The driver will pick you up at the hotel for a 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site recognized twice. You will continue your journey in Halong Bay early in the morning. A Tai Chi class on the sun deck is a must that you should not miss when on a cruise. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax and sight-see while taking photos of the magnificent rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.

Check-in and enjoy your leisure time. Stay overnight in Hoi An.
08:30 AM: Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby, and you will cycle around Hoi An towards the Tra Que vegetable village. About 150 farmers and 400 owners live there and cultivate about 20 types of vegetables and herbs, such as mint, lettuce, basil, cilantro, and broccoli. From the more than 40 hectares of land, 8 tons of Tra Que vegetables are sold every year. The vegetable growers do not use pesticides or GMOs, opting instead for natural fertilizers, including seaweed found in the river and harvested by gardeners every morning.
Walk through Tra Que vegetable village and meet local people working in the garden. During the walk, you will cross vast rice fields in the countryside and quiet roads, far from the tourist trails. You will observe the daily activities of the inhabitants through the villages of Hoi An.
A local farmer will teach you about cultivation methods and how to protect developing vegetables from insects. You will also join the farmers in preparing the garden by raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, transplanting, and tending to the plants.
Continue riding through paddy fields, Ba Le market, and kindergartens until reaching Van Lang Fishing Village and Bay Mau Water Coconut Forest, which spans about 7 hectares and is surrounded by mangrove forests, canals, and houses covered with coconut leaves. This area served as a refuge for people and local soldiers during the Vietnam War and is now famous for providing a large portion of seafood products.
You will be warmly welcomed at Mr. Han's home, a three-generation family, where you can taste green tea and stroll through the village. You will row a basket boat with the help of skillful locals and discover their traditional fishing techniques in the water coconut forest.
Return to Mr. Han's home to enjoy a foot bath with medicinal herbs, a traditional therapeutic practice, before preparing lunch with a local family. Lunch will feature many local delicacies, such as Tam Huu spring rolls, Banh Xeo local pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaf and more.
After lunch, you will have free time to take a short rest before finishing the biking tour and continuing with the last but not least activity of the day. The highlight is visiting a lantern shop where artisans make Hoi An's famous lanterns. You will see the entire process and have the chance to create your own lanterns. You will be provided with bamboo for the base of your frame and colorful silk so that you can choose your own color pattern and design. Once completed, you can take home a handmade souvenir as these lanterns are easy to fold and carry.
