Our program begins in Cai Thia village, located in Caibe district of Tien Giang province. Visit Mrs. Nam’s family to witness her over 60 years of experience in making rice paper. Optionally, embark on a one-hour biking trip to explore the renowned Hoa Loc mango village, navigating picturesque rural roads lined with traditional wooden or palm leaf houses typical of the Mekong Delta. Later, return to a tranquil local home where you can learn to prepare local cakes and enjoy them with hot tea.
Following the biking excursion, return to Cai Thia village and board a boat for a delightful lunch cruise towards An Binh Island. Along the way, visit local workshops to observe the traditional craftsmanship behind rice paper, coconut candy, and popped rice or popcorn.
Check-in at Ut Trinh homestay (or another homestay), where you'll be warmly welcomed by a local family. Relax with a refreshing shower or cold drinks, then join in cooking local dishes with your hosts. Enjoy dinner accompanied by a cup of tea or rice wine.
Overnight in a private room at the local homestay.
