Om Swastiastu! Welcome to Ubud, the heart of Bali’s arts and culture, famously known from the movie Eat Pray Love. After your arrival, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation in Ubud to check in and unwind. Enjoy some free time to relax before heading out for a warm family dinner. If you arrive early, take the opportunity to explore the enchanting charm of Ubud. You can visit the Blanco Renaissance Museum, Puri Lukisan Museum, various Hindu temples, or delve deeper into the Puri Saren Agung.
Overnight in Ubud.
This morning, embark on an exciting adventure at the Bali Treetops Adventure Park, located amidst the lush forest. In the island's largest botanical gardens, you'll be harnessed and suspended in the treetops, crossing suspended bridges and zip-lining from tree to tree. The course features a mix of spider nets, Tarzan jumps, flying foxes, and swings, with varying levels of difficulty suitable for all ages, from children to adults. Be ready for a fun challenge and a great view from above!
Afterward, take a visit to Pura Danau Bratan, a serene temple located by a tranquil lake. The site offers beautiful, ever-changing scenery—be sure to have your camera ready as mist often rolls over the nearby jungles or the light breaks through the mountains in dramatic fashion.
In the afternoon, head to Bali’s second largest lake, Lake Bratan, and explore Ulun Danu Temple, a 17th-century temple dedicated to the goddess Danu. Your guide will lead you through the temple, allowing plenty of time for photos and reflection. After returning to Ubud, enjoy some free time to relax.
Overnight in Ubud.
Embark on a thrilling white-water rafting adventure just outside of Ubud. Drift down an 11-kilometer (7-mile) stretch of river for a 2-hour journey through class II and III rapids, surrounded by lush rainforests, deep gorges, and peaceful rice paddies. After your adrenaline-pumping experience, enjoy a refreshing shower to relax before continuing your journey to Candidasa later in the afternoon. Once in Candidasa, take some time to explore the town. You can unwind by the picturesque lagoon, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or enjoy the excellent snorkeling opportunities available.
Overnight in Candidasa.
Continue your adventure on two wheels with an exhilarating bike ride through the serene Balinese countryside. Pedal through picturesque farmland adorned with rice paddies and plantations of peanuts, potatoes, fruits, and flowers along a scenic 27-kilometer (17-mile) trail. While most of the route is downhill, be prepared for some steep uphill sections near the end. The ride includes narrow paths and light traffic, though we prioritize quieter roads whenever possible. The journey concludes at White Sand Beach, a charming inlet with pristine ocean views. Cool off with a swim, enjoy lunch, and return to Candidasa for an afternoon of leisure. A support vehicle accompanies the group for breaks as needed, and helmets are provided (feel free to bring your own if preferred).
Overnight in Candidasa.
Departing from Candidasa, we make our way to the rice fields for a trek through the terraced landscapes behind the Tirtagangga Water Palace and nearby village, lasting approximately 2 hours. Your guide will share insights into the vital role water plays in Balinese agricultural life. The path includes uneven tracks and irrigation channels with some uphill and downhill sections. Tirtagangga Water Palace is a stunning maze of pools and fountains, framed by lush gardens and intricate stone carvings. Constructed in 1948 by the last Raja of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, its centerpiece is an impressive eleven-tiered fountain.
In the afternoon, we journey through lush scenery to Amed, a picturesque coastal stretch of fishing villages in East Bali. Nestled between palm-covered hills and stone-speckled beaches with gentle waves, Amed offers excellent snorkeling opportunities. Alternatively, unwind and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and scenic views for the rest of the day.
Overnight in Amed.
After breakfast, we head out to explore the waters with our snorkeling guide, who will lead the group to two coastal spots based on the tides and the group’s experience and comfort level. These could include Jemeluk Coral Bay, the Japanese Shipwreck, or the USA Liberty Shipwreck in Tulamben. Once back in Amed, enjoy some free time for a leisurely walk along the shore or perhaps a yoga session to unwind.
Overnight in Amed.
Departing from Amed, embark on a 4-hour drive to Seminyak, the final stop of your journey. Seminyak is an upscale, relaxed beach town known for its expansive beaches, unique architecture, and an abundance of spas and wellness treatments. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to explore the town. You might want to lounge by the pool or indulge in some shopping before heading out for a final, included dinner.
Overnight in Seminyak.
Today is the final day of your journey, with no additional activities planned. If you wish, you could extend your stay to fully enjoy Seminyak's warm beach atmosphere or even take a Rip Curl surfing lesson for some added excitement. Otherwise, we will arrange an airport transfer to Denpasar for your onward flight.
